Poppy, pen and watercolour
I started this portrait a while ago, but it wasn't until lockdown started that I revisited the pen drawing to add tone with watercolours. Sakura Pigma Micron and Derwent Inktense watercolour pans on Bockingford cold-pressed watercolour paper. 6.5x6.5in I worked from a supplied photo - her fur was lovely to sketch!
Tom the Terrier, pen and watercolour
Sakura Pigma Micron pen and Winsor and Newton watercolours on smooth watercolour paper. This was completed following a request from a friend. I worked from a supplied reference photo, and although I had a little trouble getting his colouring onto paper, I love how it turned out in the end!

Rosie, pen drawing
This was based on a colleagues' photo of her dog, Rosie - had to have a go at drawing her. The angled view posed a bit of a challenge to draw, but look at those eyes!
